AMCI_BITCLOCK_SKEW
· Occurs with AudioVision
· The clocks coming from the two 8x8's may not be synchronous. The AMCI Card is
comparing the two 8x8's at startup, and if they are off, you may receive this error.
· One cause of this can be if the OS Clock from the MicroLynx (or VSD) goes to the
second 8x8 (9-16) first, then to the first 8x8. The AMCI Card expects the clock from
the ch1-8 8x8 to be slightly ahead of the ch9-16 8x8. If the OS Cabling is wrong,
then it may be reversed.
AMCI PLL NOT LOCKED

system as a Film Composer.
AMOUNT OF VIDEO DIFFERS FROM THE AMOUNT REQUESTED

· Check the pulldown switch on the front of the Video Slave Driver. It should be set to
1.00 for NTSC or 30 fps projects and set to .99 for film or 24fps projects in most
cases (consult your manual for more information), and 1.00 for all PAL projects.
· Try recreating the DigiSetup file
· Check that Black burst from a single source is feeding your Video Slave Driver, deck,
ABVB, and VLANs/VLX
· Cycle the power on the Media Composer, especially the audio hardware and the tape
deck and VLANs/VLX and try again. The audio hardware and the VLANs/VLX can
get into a strange state and powering them down will reset them.
· Check your deck to verify that the play rate is correct
· Your Video Slave Driver may be failing
· The audio signal may be too hot and cause Media Composer to skip a frame when
digitizing
ANY CLIP = NULL
